Carriers

NITT's overhead is not very high. We utilize many free, open source programs to manage its functions, but we do incure costs such as this website and some software subscriptions.

Most of these costs are currently absorbed by NITT's founder and seldom totals a hundred dollars a year. In the past we rented a storage facility close to CACC as a carrier pickup point but had to abandon it when funds ran low.

As stated above, NITT IS NOT A 501c3 SO MONETARY DONATIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTABLE.

Funds

Our greatest need.

Our drivers use their own personal carriers to do transports in addition to their time and gas. Situations arise when we have to piggyback transports where more than one cat needs to be saved.

Ideally, we want to assign a carrier to each transport. When we do pulls requiring multiple stages, it means the cat has to be moved from carrier to carrier, which is stressful for the cat and presents a risk to the drivers.
